Body Sculpting AU, a family-run massage and body therapy clinic in Australia, sought to enhance their digital presence and create a reference point for customers. Previously relying on physical marketing, they aimed to develop a website that accurately represented their brand and showcased their treatments. The project focused on highlighting their offerings, promoting deals, displaying before-and-after results, and positioning themselves as a preferred choice over competitors.

Project insights

I interviewed the mother and son who run the business to gain insights into their vision for the website and how it should showcase their treatments and results. We discussed the necessary functionalities and sections to be added. They shared that over 80% of their customers are women aged 28-65, primarily mothers who have developed physical issues from working desk jobs or caring for their children.

Research analysis

Research analysis

I conducted a competitive analysis of websites for physical therapy clinics in Australia. Most designs lacked user experience, with cluttered information and friction in finding the right treatments. I then created a user flow map to organize information hierarchically and to help users easily identify their goal paths. This information structure was to be supported by real-time images of treatments and customer reviews for authenticity.

Result

I designed wireframes to illustrate and present the information architecture to stakeholders before developing the high-fidelity version. The design aimed to visualize the treatments while providing relevant information about each process. After reviews and adjustments, I created a style guide for the developers. Following the completion of development, the team reported a 200% increase in engagement and multiple leads generated through the website in the subsequent month. The stakeholders were happy with the increased ROI.
